If you give the password and the name with which you have reserved a table, you will go down some narrow and cold stairs that seem to lead you to a parking lot but that actually lead you to a room that takes you back to the 1920s and the era of Al Capone and company.
In this ‘speakeasy’ “that sells food”, in the words of the chef, and that has a luminous extension on the hotel’s rooftop, you have to dip the crispy and very pizza-like ‘puccia’ (typical bread from the Italian region of Puglia) in a fun squid pâté, the tuna tartare that demonstrates its commitment to good product, the classic Cordoban salmorejo that they serve in a cocktail shaker because you have traveled to the 20s and the prohibition, the grilled octopus and the beef ‘presa’, a cut as unusual as this place.
And pair all this with one of the wines from its cellar, which highlights small Catalan producers.
